Kathryn Hume-Cook

Born 1968 in Melbourne, Australia, Kathryn originally trained as a professional ballet dancer, and traveled to Europe in 1987, where she built her career as a performer, dance and movement teacher.

Kathryn graduated from her Feldenkrais Training with Mia Segal in 1999 and has been a full-time Feldenkrais practitioner since 2003. She looks back on a rich history of classes, seminars, retreats, and individual lessons and maintains her private practice, based in Hamburg, Germany.

Passionate about both learning, and movement, Kathryn is fascinated with our method as a means for growth and personal development. She became an Assistant Trainer in 2018 and a Trainer in 2024. She teaches in multiple Trainings across Europe and Asia.

Kathryn is also a mother to one beautiful, grown-up daughter, and speaks English and German.
